Vantastic operates a man and van service by the hour transporting pretty much anything anywhere, as long as it all fits in (see our van size info).

Try to give us as much notice as possible to ensure your move can be scheduled for a time most convenient to you. However we have been known to turn up minutes after the initial phone call.

Yes of course we do! Our vehicle is ‘fitted out’ for removals and has internal racking to help secure your belongings safely.

This helps to provide a transparent pricing structure because every ‘job’ is unique with many variables out of our control. Loading times quoted will be sufficient if you are fully prepared but any additional time needed will be charged accordingly. (Top tip: Move items to be transported as close to where the van can park as possible before arrival – 1 hour can easily be saved if items have been moved down in the lift/stairs before the driver arrives)

Yes. We are insured to carry two passengers + the driver, please arrange this at the time of booking.

Our prices are fully inclusive of all costs. The only additional cost would be if the loading/unloading time is exceeded (including unscheduled stops along the way).

Once we have made contact with you to inform you of our arrival, we start the clock and stop it again once loading has finished. On arrival at your destination we start the clock again and stop it once all items have been unloaded and payment has been received.

Unfortunately not. We space our jobs out based on the details we have from our customers and will therefore have booked the time slot exclusively for you.

Ensuring adequate parking is the responsibility of the customer. If a penalty charge is unavoidably incurred we request immediate payment to the driver by the customer. We will always do everything we can to prevent this from happening.

Any single item must not weigh more than 25kg per person lifting it (Health and Safety). If you have a very heavy item please ensure you have enough people to carry it – we reserve the right to refuse potentially dangerous or harmful items.

Our vehicle is comprehensively insured for hire and reward along with Goods In Transit cover* of £10k. Contact your household contents insurer for details as most policies cover items during removal – We accept no responsibility for any item broken at any time unless all terms and conditions of G.I.T. insurance are met.

If you give less than 24 hours notice after your booking is confirmed you will be charged 50% of the confirmed quote.
